One of our missions is to rehabilitate and rescue the former Winfield Cinemas building at 1007 Main Street, which has already begun.

We've completed these phases:

• Phase I and II - Making the building safe, installing a new roof and renovating the lobby
  • Completed in June 2006.
• Phase III - Demolition of the walls between the theaters
  • Completed in March 2007

What's coming up?

• Phase IV - Heating and air conditioning system (HVAC) for the auditorium
  • Cost - $40,000
• Phase V - Repainting and rewiring of the building.
  • Cost - $25,000
• Phase VI - Installation of an ADA accessible restroom off of the Lobby.
  • Cost - $25,000
• Phase VII - Expansion of the stage and new seating.

Total cost of the rehabilitation project

• $300,000
