With the completion of the acquisition of the building and the formation of Marquee, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, where do we go from here to fulfill our dream?

Rehabilitation of the building.

Rehabilitation of the building began in 2006.

We've completed these phases:

• Phase I and II - Making the building safe, installing a new roof and renovating the lobby
  • Completed in June 2006.
• Phase III - Demolition of the walls between the theaters
  • Completed in March 2007

What's coming up?

• Phase IV - Heating and air conditioning system (HVAC) for the auditorium
  • Cost - $40,000
• Phase V - Repainting and rewiring of the building.
  • Cost - $25,000
• Phase VI - Installation of an ADA accessible restroom off of the Lobby.
  • Cost - $25,000
• Phase VII - Expansion of the stage and new seating.

Total cost of the rehabilitation project:

• $300,000

The Marquee Dream

Traveling Display

    The Marquee Dream Traveling Display is the presentation of the rennovated Marquee that we are asking local businessmen and women to help house in order to connect the Marquee and its vision to the Winfield community.

    The Traveling Display includes the financial breakdown as seen above, the color-coded blueprints shown at right as well as the pictoral display of the final rennovated space as shown below.

    The Marquee Dream Traveling Display is currently being housed at CornerBank at the corner of 9th and Main Street.
