The mission of the Marquee Performing Arts Center is
to create a dynamic cultural hub in the heart of downtown Winfield
for social, artistic, educational and business gatherings
by restoring and transforming the historic Winfield Fox Theatre
into a state-of-the-art facility that connects and serves
the people of Winfield and South-Central Kansas.

Marquee, Inc., was formed in March 2005 as a non-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation governed by a Board of Directors. The building at 1007 Main Street, Winfield, KS, was donated to the group by B&B Theatre, who had purchased the former Fox Theatre building in 1980 and in 2004 moved their operations from Arkansas City and Winfield to Strother Field.

After several years of preliminary rehabilitation, we have launched an intensive capital campaign to enable Marquee Performing Arts Center to become a reality in downtown Winfield.  When completed, the facility will provide unique opportunities to respect our cherished arts tradition and build upon it in new and exciting ways! Please take a few moments to explore our website and dream with us as we bring Movies, Music and More back to downtown Winfield.
